SCMS President - Ryan Suplee, M.D. 

Ryan Suplee, M.D. was honorably installed by Sarasota County Medical Society (SCMS) Past President, Dr. Jody Abrams as the Medical Society’s 100th President on April 16, 2024. 

Dr. Suplee is a board-certified vascular surgeon with Intercoastal Medical Group.  He received his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY.  He is a member of the Sarasota County Medical Society Delegation to the Florida Medical Association House of Delegates and a past SCMS Board of Censors member.

SCMS is excited for Dr. Suplee to serve as president continuing to promote physician advocacy and responsible healthcare for our community.

SCMS Delegation attends FMA 2023 Annual Meeting

During the weekend of July 28-30, 2023, SCMS delegation to the Florida Medical Association attended their annual meeting at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.  SCMS delegates are:  Drs. William Adams, Nicole Bentze, Usma Chatha, Sean Daley, Sean Downing, Jonathan Drier, Kasia Piotrowska, Sheri Weinstein, Cory Weitzner and FMA Immediate President, Michael Patete.
