Sarasota Medical Political Action Committee (SAMPAC)
SAMPAC is a committee of individual members whose mission is to encourage physicians to strive for the improvements of government by taking a more active and effective part in political affairs. The mission is to attain pro-medicine candidates for elective offices at all levels of government. SAMPAC joins the FMA PAC in effectively lobbying and providing political education to physicians through planned events during the year. These events provide education on important issues regarding to our current legislation.
Legislative and Regulatory Updates
In conjunction with the FMA PAC, SAMPAC provides members with up-to-date information on issues of legislation and regulatory affairs via e-newsletters and personal e-mails.
